Still

My Father was right.. I am wrong.. He convicted me.. He taught me things through His words..

While watching the tv, I glanced at the mirror beside it and saw my fine, well groomed hair. I took a closer look in it and it is really ok but I also observed my face in the mirror. I thought to my self, "How I wish a face can be changed that will match the hair in it". Somewhere in my chest, I felt like a little upset of my face for it isn't good enough unlike the others who have a face that will really make them the boy next door.
But my Father reminded me of one thing, what is more important than the good, nice face is the good character a man has inside him. Yes, I realized that what my Father said was true, indeed true. Character, yes character, I remembered what I thought in my mind these past few days.

Ou nga hindi ko naisip iyon..

Sa pagbabasa ko ng Today's Devotional Post from Our Daily Journey, I've learned something..

Naituro nga sa amin dati na, "they are defenseless against our prayers..", hindi ko lang maalala kung sino nagsabi nito sa amin dati pero ngayon, lahat talaga ng natututunan ay napapakinabangan.. :)

Good Day & God Bless! :)

Sapul ako ah.. haha!

   פ Pe
 129 Your statutes are wonderful;
   therefore I obey them.
130 The unfolding of your words gives light;
   it gives understanding to the simple.
131 I open my mouth and pant,
   longing for your commands.
132 Turn to me and have mercy on me,
   as you always do to those who love your name.
133 Direct my footsteps according to your word;
   let no sin rule over me.
134 Redeem me from human oppression,
   that I may obey your precepts.
135 Make your face shine on your servant
   and teach me your decrees.
136 Streams of tears flow from my eyes,
   for your law is not obeyed.  (Psalm 119:129-136, New International Version)

Death comes to all.

This was taken from the passage of Our Daily Journey for this day.

 1 So I reflected on all this and concluded that the righteous and the wise and what they do are in God’s hands, but no one knows whether love or hate awaits them. 2 All share a common destiny—the righteous and the wicked, the good and the bad, the clean and the unclean, those who offer sacrifices and those who do not.

   As it is with the good,
   so with the sinful;
as it is with those who take oaths,
   so with those who are afraid to take them.
 3 This is the evil in everything that happens under the sun: The same destiny overtakes all. The hearts of people, moreover, are full of evil and there is madness in their hearts while they live, and afterward they join the dead. 4 Anyone who is among the living has hope—even a live dog is better off than a dead lion!
 5 For the living know that they will die,
   but the dead know nothing;
they have no further reward,
   and even their name is forgotten.
6 Their love, their hate
   and their jealousy have long since vanished;
never again will they have a part
   in anything that happens under the sun.
 7 Go, eat your food with gladness, and drink your wine with a joyful heart, for God has already approved what you do. 8 Always be clothed in white, and always anoint your head with oil. 9 Enjoy life with your wife, whom you love, all the days of this meaningless life that God has given you under the sun—all your meaningless days. For this is your lot in life and in your toilsome labor under the sun. 10 Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might, for in the realm of the dead, where you are going, there is neither working nor planning nor knowledge nor wisdom.
 11 I have seen something else under the sun:
   The race is not to the swift
   or the battle to the strong,
nor does food come to the wise
   or wealth to the brilliant
   or favor to the learned;
but time and chance happen to them all.
 12 Moreover, no one knows when their hour will come:
   As fish are caught in a cruel net,
   or birds are taken in a snare,
so people are trapped by evil times
   that fall unexpectedly upon them.  (Ecclesiastes 9:1-12, New International Version)

Forgiveness

last na 'to for this night..

 1 My dear children, I write this to you so that you will not sin. But if anybody does sin, we have an advocate with the Father—Jesus Christ, the Righteous One. 2 He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours but also for the sins of the whole world.  3 We know that we have come to know him if we keep his commands. 4 Whoever says, “I know him,” but does not do what he commands is a liar, and the truth is not in that person. 5 But if anyone obeys his word, love for God is truly made complete in them. This is how we know we are in him: 6 Whoever claims to live in him must live as Jesus did.
 7 Dear friends, I am not writing you a new command but an old one, which you have had since the beginning. This old command is the message you have heard. 8 Yet I am writing you a new command; its truth is seen in him and in you, because the darkness is passing and the true light is already shining.
 9 Anyone who claims to be in the light but hates a brother or sister is still in the darkness. 10 Anyone who loves their brother and sister lives in the light, and there is nothing in them to make them stumble. 11 But anyone who hates a brother or sister is in the darkness and walks around in the darkness. They do not know where they are going, because the darkness has blinded them.  12 I am writing to you, dear children,
   because your sins have been forgiven on account of his name.

Fellowship

Shacks talaga!

Remember, everyone is unique in their very onw special ways.

Another thing, as a CHRISTIAN, remember what you learn about FELLOWSHIP. Now I get it, ayan nakalimutan ko na :( ayun naalala ko na ulit..

Ngayon, we must all be in UNITY. As a Christian, kailangan kong mahalin ang mga tao sa paligid ko dahil lahat tayo ay IMPERFECT SINNERS. Natutunan ko na kapag ang pinupuna mo ay ang differences o kung ano mang outward signs except sa unity, that what you will call immaturity. As a Christian that needs to grow in Christ, this is the real world, the real challenge. Hindi pwedeng naka-confine lang ako sa loob ng congreagation kasama ang mga iba pang Christain believers, paano naman ang non-believers? Remember, I repeat, we are ALL IMPERFECT SINNERS. God commanded us to love one another;

   34 “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. 35 By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.”  (John 13:34-35, New International Version)

Amen.

 24 As for you, see that what you have heard from the beginning remains in you. If it does, you also will remain in the Son and in the Father. 25 And this is what he promised us—eternal life.
 26 I am writing these things to you about those who are trying to lead you astray. 27 As for you, the anointing you received from him remains in you, and you do not need anyone to teach you. But as his anointing teaches you about all things and as that anointing is real, not counterfeit—just as it has taught you, remain in him.  28 And now, dear children, continue in him, so that when he appears we may be confident and unashamed before him at his coming.
 29 If you know that he is righteous, you know that everyone who does what is right has been born of him.
 1 See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him. 2 Dear friends, now we are children of God, and what we will be has not yet been made known. But we know that when Christ appears, we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is. 3 All who have this hope in him purify themselves, just as he is pure.  (1 John 2:24-3:3, New International Version)

 14 The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.
 15 (John testified concerning him. He cried out, saying, “This is the one I spoke about when I said, ‘He who comes after me has surpassed me because he was before me.’”) 16 Out of his fullness we have all received grace in place of grace already given. 17 For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ. 18 No one has ever seen God, but the one and only Son, who is himself God and is in closest relationship with the Father, has made him known.  (John 1:14-18, New International Version)

ODB - Fresh Fruit - May 21, 2011

http://odb.org/

    A psalm. A song. For the Sabbath day.

 1 It is good to praise the LORD
   and make music to your name, O Most High,
2 proclaiming your love in the morning
   and your faithfulness at night,
3 to the music of the ten-stringed lyre
   and the melody of the harp.
 4 For you make me glad by your deeds, LORD;
   I sing for joy at what your hands have done.
5 How great are your works, LORD,
   how profound your thoughts!
6 Senseless people do not know,
   fools do not understand,
7 that though the wicked spring up like grass
   and all evildoers flourish,
   they will be destroyed forever.
 8 But you, LORD, are forever exalted.
 9 For surely your enemies, LORD,
   surely your enemies will perish;
   all evildoers will be scattered.
10 You have exalted my horn like that of a wild ox;
   fine oils have been poured on me.
11 My eyes have seen the defeat of my adversaries;
   my ears have heard the rout of my wicked foes.
 12 The righteous will flourish like a palm tree,
   they will grow like a cedar of Lebanon;
13 planted in the house of the LORD,
   they will flourish in the courts of our God.
14 They will still bear fruit in old age,
   they will stay fresh and green,
15 proclaiming, “The LORD is upright;
   he is my Rock, and there is no wickedness in him.”  (Psalm 92, New International Version)

Nalulungkot ako...

    42 “If anyone causes one of these little ones—those who believe in me—to stumble, it would be better for them if a large millstone were hung around their neck and they were thrown into the sea. 43 If your hand causes you to stumble, cut it off. It is better for you to enter life maimed than with two hands to go into hell, where the fire never goes out. [44] 45 And if your foot causes you to stumble, cut it off. It is better for you to enter life crippled than to have two feet and be thrown into hell. [46] 47 And if your eye causes you to stumble, pluck it out. It is better for you to enter the kingdom of God with one eye than to have two eyes and be thrown into hell, 48 where

   “‘the worms that eat them do not die,
   and the fire is not quenched.’
   49 Everyone will be salted with fire.
   50 “Salt is good, but if it loses its saltiness, how can you make it salty again? Have salt among yourselves, and be at peace with each other.”  (Mark 9:42-50, New International Version)

ODB - Humbly Receive - May 20, 2011

http://odb.org/

 13 When tempted, no one should say, “God is tempting me.” For God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does he tempt anyone; 14 but each person is tempted when they are dragged away by their own evil desire and enticed. 15 Then, after desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, gives birth to death.
 16 Don’t be deceived, my dear brothers and sisters. 17 Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows. 18 He chose to give us birth through the word of truth, that we might be a kind of firstfruits of all he created.  19 My dear brothers and sisters, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry, 20 because human anger does not produce the righteousness that God desires. 21 Therefore, get rid of all moral filth and the evil that is so prevalent and humbly accept the word planted in you, which can save you.
 22 Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says.  (James 1:13-22, New International Version)

The Fig Tree Withers

 18 Early in the morning, as Jesus was on his way back to the city, he was hungry. 19 Seeing a fig tree by the road, he went up to it but found nothing on it except leaves. Then he said to it, “May you never bear fruit again!” Immediately the tree withered.

 20 When the disciples saw this, they were amazed. “How did the fig tree wither so quickly?” they asked.
 21 Jesus replied, “Truly I tell you, if you have faith and do not doubt, not only can you do what was done to the fig tree, but also you can say to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and it will be done. 22 If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer.”  (Matthew 21:18-22, New International Version)

Ou nga!

I couldn't start my 40 days journey when I am guilty of the worldly things that I do..

Praise the Lord for He is the greatest..
Praise the Lord for He is the righteous..
Praise the Lord for He is full of mercy..

Lord thank you for every thing that happened to my life
Thank you for everyday, thank you for everything, thank you for my life..

Thank you for making me realize my mistakes..

chain effect:

I'm struggling with my worldly errors and weaknesses that's why I can't return back to God.
But last Sunday, I learned from the lessons in our church about 1) the word of God, and 2) about prayer and intercession..
     What I learned is, the Word of God is the most powerful weapon to combat worldly errors and weaknesses that one could commit. It also protects us from temptation and committing sin. Another thing that were told us about the word of God is other than reading it, we must also meditate from it.
This May 3, 2011 (Tuesday), I read the word of God and miraculously and absolutely, it was true! It was definitely true! All the things about the word of God is true! It penetrated my soul and my weakened life and faith.

God did really want this successsion of things to happen to me. Praise the Lord for Thy word is true.
Heaven and earth will fade, but His word will still remain. God will make a way.
Another thing I realized right now is God really loves me for He never left me nor let me lost my way. Instead, he led me to the right way to be lightened, return to Him, and let live a Christian life.

My praises and thanksgiving to God is overflowing today. Thank You God. :')
